2. Visiting this website (server log files)

Each time you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our server, where it is stored in what are known as log files:

• the address requested and the date and time of access
• the volume of data transferred and a message confirming successful retrieval
• the browser used and its version, and the operating system
• the IP address of your device
• the page visited before, if your browser transmits it

This processing is necessary in order to deliver the website, ensure its stability and detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and trouble-free operation of the site.

3. Hosting

This website is operated by a service provider in Germany that processes the data exclusively on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

4. Contact form and email

If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide – your name, email address and the content of your message – in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where membership is concerned, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our interest in answering enquiries.

We do not pass this data on to third parties. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply.

To protect against automated bulk enquiries we check how long the form was open and evaluate an additional field that is invisible to you. We also store a non-reversible check value derived from your IP address for a short period in order to limit the number of submissions per hour. It does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally and is deleted after one hour.

5. Members area

The protected area of this website is reserved for club members. For the login we set a technically necessary session cookie whose sole purpose is to maintain your login status during your visit. It contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser at the latest. The legal basis for storing it is section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, as the cookie is strictly necessary for the service you requested; the processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. No analytics, no advertising, no external content

We do not use any analytics or audience measurement and we do not embed advertising networks. No fonts, scripts or maps are loaded from external servers. The map shown on the pages “Our club” and “Contact” is a static image stored on our own server; viewing it does not create any connection to OpenStreetMap.

7. Links to other providers

Our pages link to external services, for instance to the portals of the billiards associations or to MyScoreboard. These links only transfer data once you actively click them. The operators of the target pages are responsible for the data processing there, and their privacy notices apply.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

• access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)

An informal message to the address above is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Saxon Data Protection Commissioner, Devrientstrasse 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.

9. Changes to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy whenever the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
